Imtech demands moratorium on




Technical services provider Imtech has applied for postponement of payment. The company has itself disclosed. Banks want stabbing out of money in the ailing company. There are administrators appointed to take over the helm at the company.

Imtech hopes to be able to save the moratorium at least parts of the company. It came last week in heavy weather and said earlier to consider all options. Royal Imtech NV was already longer in trouble and sold last year, the ICT division at the French Vinci.

It is still unknown what the moratorium will mean for the staff. It employs 3,000 people in the Netherlands at the company. Worldwide, the Dutch company has 22,000 employees. The German subsidiary, which is separate from the Dutch company, went bankrupt last week.
