Imtech was declared bankrupt by Rotterdam court




Royal Imtech, the technical service provider from Gouda, Thursday by the Rotterdam court declared bankrupt. The divisions Marine and Nordic sold, leaving 7,300 of the 22,000 jobs should be preserved.

It announced today the company itself in a press release. The message follows on Tuesday requested postponement of payment. With the bankruptcy of Royal Imtech NV Imtech also below all parts falling bankrupt: Imtech Capital BV, BV and Imtech Imtech Group BV

The divisions Marine and Nordic are placed outside the group and various funders have indicated that it would take about two parts. Imtech Marine is sold to Pon Holdings and Parcom. For Nordic is still a buyer sought, but the press release says that the expectation is that it will be found quickly. The Financial Times reports that the two divisions, Navy and Nordic, most have value according to experts.

Thursday morning trading in shares Imtech was already shut down by the Financial Markets Authority.
