In an attempt to change the situation and stop this trend, scientists have equipped 5,000 flying insects in Australia with special sensors designed to track their behavior. This will help to better understand the so-called syndrome of destruction of the colonies, which causes serious damage to honey production and ecosystem.

Activities of the researchers from the countries of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation – CSIRO) aims to increase the population of bees and honey production.
