Opera Software has released a new version of the browser for Mac and Windows. It has a function of exchange bookmarks with others, and made some additional changes. Sharing content after upgrading the web browser becomes available by default.


To send bookmarks to another user, you need to add a web page to your bookmarks by selecting for each of them the appropriate thumbnail. After the user has pressed the “Share”, all references and sketches are loaded on a special page on which the link appears. It can be sent by e-mail or direct message, and place in social media.

Other improvements in Opera 26:

Integrated PDF-Viewer provides quick and easy opening of PDF-files directly in your browser;
Improved playback of music and watching videos, thanks to the support of media formats H.264 and MP3;
Web alerts allow developers to send notifications native platforms to users informing them of trigger events, such as sending email.
