Inkscape logo (75 pix) The fifth update Inkscape version 0:48 has been released. Inkscape is an open source and cross-platform program for editing vector graphics . It has similarities with programs like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Freehand and Xara X, but the big difference is that with Inkscape Scalable Vector Graphics works developed by the W3C open standard. The implementation of SVG is otherwise incomplete. SVG fonts can now be designed in Inkscape, but can not yet be used to render.
