for private messaging
In addition, the company announced today that it has reached 375 million active Direct Messaging users and announced a new feature that combines both temporary and permanent messages in one place.

Instagram, which has more than 600 million active users per month, said in a publication on its blog: “Today, we launch new messages to speed up and facilitate the conversion of any conversation into a video conversation with photos and videos.”

The company added that the texts, images and videos re-shared will now appear in the same series of conversations with pictures and temporary videos, in order to facilitate communication with friends.

Instagram, owned by Facebook, announced the merger of the temporary messaging feature with the private messaging feature last November, stating that the number of active monthly users was 300 million, and in August it was more than 250 Million.

Since then, the Message Section has been divided into a section, one for temporary messages and one for regular private messages, but now all messages have merged.

The new update is available for Instagram application on Android and iOS, as part of version 10.6 of the application.
