Instagram will show video ads of 30 seconds




Instagram has announced that it will now also display video ads. The ads can be up to thirty seconds, fifteen seconds longer than normal Instagram videos. The company thereby relies heavily on Facebooks ad infrastructure.

That requires the photo service itself on its company blog. Facebook’s experience with reaching specific audiences is the new advertientiedienst handy. With the rollout of the service also get more various types of businesses the opportunity to advertise on the network graphics part.

According to the blog saw Instagram during tests this summer that firms that are active in e-commerce, travel industry, entertainment industry and retail trade, positive effects on the use of video ads. During the test period, the video ads were up to fifteen seconds, as long as the maximum duration of a personal video. Advertisers may now take up to thirty seconds of playing time.

How much more expensive than normal Marquee ads should be is not known. The first marquee action comes from Fox and is intended to promote three of its fall shows: The Grinder, Scream Queens and Grandfathered.
