Intel brings 48 Skylake processors for laptops and desktops




Intel brings echoing in August introduced the Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K for the desktop, a large number of mainstream desktop processors, mobile processors for laptops and socs for tablets, based on the Skylake-architecture.

Skylake will include support for DDR4, while DDR3 memory is no longer supported: only works with the efficient DDR3L generation. Intel has made numerous improvements to provide higher performance and lower fuel consumption. In particular, the graphics processing power has increased and some Skylake processors of the new GT4 GPU with 72 execution units are provided, the maximum at Broadwell was on 48. Furthermore, GPUs offer support for the latest APIs like DirectX 12, OpenCL 2.0 and OpenGL 4.4.
