Intel brings five new dual cores and four quad cores for laptops

Intel has added nine new processors of the Haswell generation to its product database. It involves five dual cores which two efficient models and four quad cores, including a version with an unlocked multiplier.

The nine new processors in the Intel price list are added , which will be available in the short term in laptops offer slightly higher clock speeds than comparable existing Haswell chips, but further contain identical specifications.

Among the five dual cores are two Core i5 and Core i7 M suffix, which for mainstream laptops and TDP of 37W have. In addition, two efficient Core i5 for ultrabooks added U-suffix, which have TDP of 15W. One of these models has the HD Graphics 5000 GPU, which thanks to the presence of 40 eu ‘s significantly better graphics performance should offer the HD 4×00 GPU of the Haswell other models with only 20 eu’s.

Finally, there are four quad cores appeared, with clock speeds ranging from 2.8 GHz to 3.1 GHz. The Core i7-4860HQ has a relatively strong Iris Pro GPU with 128MB eDRAM cache, while the Core i7-4940MX an Extreme Edition model with unlocked multiplier. Incidentally, this is with a clock speed of 3.1 GHz, the new flagship processor for laptops: the chip takes the lead on the Intel Core i7-4930MX which has a clock speed of 3GHz.
