Find a Question:
Intel has wearable manufacturer bought base
Base has already made in the market of Health tracker a name. 7% market share achieved in this area, which are 21% of the competitors Jawbone opposite. Intel showed at this year’s CES reference designs for wearables, but has no intention of appearing as a hardware manufacturer. It is assumed that Intel might be more interested in the experience of the team. So far, most chips come in the fitness and health trackers, from companies such as Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and STMicroelectronics. So you could offer complete designs, to push their own wearable basis. About the price, there are no exact figures, there are rumors by an amount between 100 and 150 million U.S. dollars. Should there be after the official cooler selection of the deal even more news, we push an update.
