Intel launches annual Msabaktha Sciences Arab youth in Alexandria




Announced Intel on Tuesday announced the launch of “Intel science competition” in the Arab world this year in the city of Alexandria, Egypt, in conjunction with the honor of Foundation and the Library of Alexandria.

The company said that this announcement comes in the framework of the ongoing effort to promote innovation in the field of science and research among Arab youth.

It is expected that the competition is being held during the period from 17 to December / December 19, it is scheduled to be attended by more than 110 students from 11 Arab countries in Alexandria to provide a range of pilot projects before the committee, which includes a group of university professors as arbitrators, and that in the framework of the competition on a group of prize money total of 20 thousand US dollars, as well as other special awards.

Said Taha Khalifa, Regional General Manager, Intel Corporation, in the Middle East and North Africa, said, “Intel is seeking to continue to provide support for young scientists Arabs, innovators and leaders through their status among the priorities of the company. We believe that it is our duty to support young people through the provision of advice and guidance, and investment in research, innovation and education, so as to enable them to explore all possible opportunities through innovative approaches. ”

Khalifa expressed his happiness that have the opportunity to work with these bright young minds of the Arabs, and that the team work Intel is looking forward to welcoming them in Alexandria.

For its part, Engineer Hoda El Mikati Prime cultural communication sector BA pointed out that the library has partnered with Intel and the honor of my foundation for the establishment of the Intel Science Competition in the Arab world in 2015 at the headquarters of the library.

Mikati added that the library aims to improve the concept of research and development of young people at the local and regional levels.

Mikati stressed Library convinced that Intel Science Competition in 2015 the Arab world will encourage scientists and researchers Arab youth to complete their studies and professional careers in the field of science and technology.

Mikati also stressed that investing in young people and work on the building is the cornerstone of their abilities in order to achieve our goal, which we hope to achieve in the long run to build a knowledge-based society in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa.

Also commented Dr. Essam Sharaf, former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Foundation to honor the contest, saying “linking the contest with some young minds at the regional level and help them to exchange knowledge and provide them with an opportunity to be pioneers in the areas of their studies. The Foundation is proud of the honor that they participate in the Intel Science Competition for this year, and we are committed to refining the talents of the students so that they can have them active roles in the community in the near future. ”
