Intel starts shipping new Haswell- and Bay Trail processors for laptops

Intel Haswell has four CPUs and three Haswell-socs for the laptop market released. The chipmaker three Celeron and Pentium CPU based on the Bay Trail architecture has also added to the mobile market to its range.

Compared to older models Haswell, Intel’s new processors clocked given. Among the energy-efficient ULV models, in which a ‘U’ is incorporated in the model name are dual-core Core found at speeds up to 3GHz and 4MB L3 cache. I5-SOCs The SOCs are equipped with Hyper Threading and Turbo Boost. It is also an Iris 5100 GPU included in the SOCS. The TDP is specified by Intel at 28W, reports CPU-world.

The H models include two to four cores. The fastest and the most expensive model, the i7-4980HQ is clocked at 2.8GHz and has a turbo 4GHz. The CPU has 6MB of L3 cache and an Iris Pro 5200 gpu. The TDP is 47W. Furthermore, the list still contains two slower H models and a dual-core Core i5-4210H with a HD4600 GPU.
Model Cores /
threads Frequency L3 cache Price in USD
Core i5-4210H 2/4 2.9 GHz 3MB $ 225
Core i5-4278U 2/4 2.6 GHz 3MB $ 315
Core i5-4308U 2/4 2.8GHz 3MB $ 315
