This was announced by former U.S. official said on condition of complete anonymity. Remotely activate the microphone is not a new idea, but none of Google, nor U.S. intelligence agencies did not confirm or refute this statement.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. began using the so-called “roving bugs”, which is a method of activating the microphone mobile phone, which comes with special software and is used by the FBI to listen to the conversations of others, back in 2004. Thus in 2002 for listening microphone system used in emergency vehicles.

Several former officials claim that the FBI has a special team that constantly breaks the computers using the software, made to order for the FBI. The software operates as a normal trojan.
