It is now known that one of the biggest projects in the history of mankind in the near future may become a reality. Physicists around the world have announced the completion of the technical design of the successor to the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) – International Linear Collider (ILC).

The total length of the International Linear Collider, the main purpose of which is to study the properties of dark matter and other elementary particles in the universe, is 31 km away.

“We’ve got everything: technology, kilometers of research and development work behind him, the basic laws of physics, so the construction can start tomorrow,” – said Barry Barish, one of the project leaders ILC.

The main objective of the International Linear Collider – to understand what makes up the universe and how it’s all there together. Scientists assume that the universe is composed of 95 percent dark matter, which, unfortunately, can not be found, if not to take into account the hasty statement of NASA and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Scientists are going to build a new collider Sefuri in the mountains on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu.
