Internet Kiosk Blendle expands into Germany




Blendle, the Dutch start-up that users individual pieces of newspaper and magazine reads, expands into Germany. All major German publishers to participate, claiming Blendle. Dutch also read the German articles.

Tuesday extends the start-up to Germany, so let founders Alexander Klöpping and Marten Blankensteijn know. The company has signed deals with the big German publishers. At launch, thirty newspapers and magazines in Blendle promises Utrecht start-up, over a year ago opened in the Netherlands.

Germans may include major newspapers like Die Welt, read the Sueddeutsche Zeitung and Bild, next twelve regional newspapers. A number of magazines are present, including Der Spiegel, Die Zeit and Stern. The magazines and newspapers are not just for Germans accessible: Dutch can also purchase items from the German media.

Blendle says in the Netherlands now have 300,000 subscribers. Moreover, Dutch publishers earn more than Blendle Apple claims the start-up. Blendle works also on an international, English-language version. At present, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The Economist already present.
