Magic Leap, a start-up working on a augmentedrealitybril, has raised a new round of investment dollars converted 727.5 million. In total invested over one billion euros in the start-up. China’s Alibaba is the latest major lender.

The start-up is the result of the new investment round itself known . There is $ 793.5 million raised, which the majority of the Chinese Internet company Alibaba is coming. Furthermore, Google and Qualcomm put more money into Magic Leap. They did so earlier in October 2014, when Magic Leap an injection of $ 542 million received and Sundar Pichai, now CEO of Google, joined the board. The total amount thus comes to more than $ 1.3 billion, converted 1.2 billion.

There is still little clarity about the actual product of Magic Leap. The company has shown a variety of demonstration videos, but how augmentedrealitybril looks exactly when it appears and which technique will be made using exactly is not known.

Like Microsoft HoloLens is to compare the specs of Magic Leap not directly with virtual reality glasses such as the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. It would be a pair of glasses which projects images in the eye of the wearer. Possibly it will go with the help of micro projectors of optical fiber. That information came out late in 2014 and how it is right now is still unknown. The technique of Magic Leap would have to provide a much wider angle than the limited field of view of the Microsoft HoloLens.
