Investigation: 1 percent of payments in US goes through apple pay

About 1 percent of transactions in stores in the United States goes through apple pay. That analyst firm Aite Group estimated. Apple calls it a monthly growth “in the double digits” for the payment.

A top executive of a chain of stores that Apple will offer its Pay, says that Apple has so far done little to promote his payment, writes Bloomberg. Partly because it would not be used as much as retailers had previously expected. It is unknown whether the growth in ‘double digits’ for Apple meets their own expectations.

A significant part of the American users of an iPhone or six 6s, the first iPhones on which the payment system worked, Apple Pay at least once tried. According to a recent poll would amount to 42 percent of the owners, although results per polling and vary across periods.
