Find a Question:
iOS 7 shows frequently visited places on
A new feature of iOS last 7 beta versions is the visualization of the location. You can find it under Settings> Privacy> Location Services> System Services. Here all the services of your iOS 7 are displayed, which have access to the location. Here could you “near popular” Disable For example, if you do not want to use the same function in the Apple App Store.
Important to know that these functions are not just there, but be queried when setting up your device, or when first starting the Maps application. New is the visualization of the frequent places that might want to disable cautious people.
Here there are two settings: first, the ability to improve Apple’s own Maps application. There, GPS coordinates are collected that are recognized over the “Common Places” on your iPhone. Here, street addresses are correlated and this allows a more accurate calculation of the Apple geographic location, together with the addresses. The coordinates are collected anonymously and the fun is – as already mentioned – optional. The course is always interesting, because here is your movement profile, or the places sorted by cities are shown separately.
So you can see, for example, from when to when did you stayed in which zone. This function should of course disable all those who have something to hide, because you can already see quite sure when you have where you stopped. Not that the friend looks into the phone and finds that her time going somewhere else 😉
Once in my screenshots is a trip to New York with various movements / different places to see and also a visit to a local entertainment gastronomy, which I apparently exceptionally frequented with friends. Here also, the period is displayed. As mentioned, all of these technologies are not new, nor are they foisted on you. However, since they are relatively hidden in the settings, I wanted to point out to you.
