IOS beta 9 contains instructions for iPad with resolution of 2732×2048 pixels
The first test version of iOS 9 for developers includes a designation for an iPad with a screen resolution of 2732×2048 pixels. The current iPads have a screen resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. It probably goes for the larger iPad, which go long rumored.
A Japanese developer liked the reference to the screen in the code of the beta of iOS 9 for developers. If the screen resolution is 2732×2048 pixels and the screen size of 12.9 “is correct, then the number of pixels per inch comes from around 263, which the screen has the same definition as that of the regular iPad. Moreover, it is already possible to apps testing at that resolution so that developers can be ready for the release of the larger iPad before the device was announced.
It is not the only clue for the larger iPad in the code of iOS 9. An Irish developer found Monday a keyboard with an additional row of icons and larger shift keys by adjusting the size of the emulator.
There go more than a year of rumors about an “iPad Pro” with a bigger screen and possibly input via a stylus. The announcement would be made later this year. Apple has confirmed the existence of the larger iPad as yet unconfirmed.Viewing:-123
