Find a Question:
iOS: Siri to find your photos
With iOS 7 , Apple has introduced a new system, such as images will be sorted. You can reference to the shooting location and time can be viewed and a new patent is to show that Apple is working on a possible improvement of the voice assistant Siri, so that it can sort the photos taken with iOS by indexing.
The patent is titled “” Voice-Based Image Tagging and Searching “and it allows the photographer among other things, to attach text to a photo been shot by Siri, so this is discoverable faster. Here it should be possible to natural language, as it already in some calendars and to-do lists is the case today. They automatically recognize spoken contexts of date and place, quite possible that Apple would implement something similar here.
A better sort would do the system certainly good, because we are in a time of growing photo mountains. We take pictures here and there – maybe sort hardly and might find the images you want only hard again. Apple’s patent could even mobile automatically recognize faces, buildings or landscapes under circumstances to tag similar photos. The voice search could be used more accurately, “show me pictures of football” could be, for example, one of these commands.
My personal photo-sorting way has been the only way: Folder with annual giving and subfolders with the corresponding event.
