Find a Question:
iPhone and Mac to rise again on December 24
Apple will once again raise the prices of their products in Russia on December 24, according to the RDA , citing sources close to suppliers of IT-products. The reason for such a decision experts call fluctuations in currency markets and a sharp depreciation of the ruble.
The fall of the ruble does not stop, so the price of smart phones continues to grow. November 26 Apple introduced the new prices on most of its products sold in Russia – including the iPhone 6, 5C and 5S. As a result, the junior model in the line of iPhone 6 has risen to 39 990 rubles. The average price increase on the flagship smartphone ranged from 8,000 to 12,000 rubles, computers – from 9,000 to 30,000 rubles.
Before the price increase due to the growth of the dollar cost of the iPhone and the iPhone 6 6 Plus in Russia was lower than in Europe (32 000 rubles, about 580 euros at the exchange rate in the EU and iPhone worth 700 euros) and about the same as in the US. This situation has made the sale of the iPhone in Russia favorable for buyers, but marginally profitable for Apple. According to some reports, the following week, 16-gigabyte iPhone 6 Plus will cost 52,990 rubles.
Apple is not the only one who changes the price tags on smartphones. Thus, the Chinese company Huawei has raised the price of the flagship Honor. 8-core smartphone Honor 6 now stands at 21,990 Russian rubles. On Monday, inflation touches and planshetofona Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It will cost 39,990 rubles.
Meanwhile, as predicted by the head of Sberbank German Gref, at the end of next year, the Russian currency strengthened. And the dollar could fall to 48 rubles, although at the beginning of 2015, he will balance at the level of 55-56 rubles. At present, the central bank set the “price” of the US currency on the verge of 57 rubles.
