ISP Tweak suffered from breakdowns due to DDoS attack
The small ISP Tweak faced today with three short-term internet and telephony malfunction due to a DDoS attack. Thus internet connections of customers were delayed and could not get them to endure timeouts.
Randal Peelen, product & marketing manager at Tweak, the provider has to make the last two weeks, with all attempts to interrupt the service of the company through DDoS attacks. He tells Tweakers. The temporary inconvenience and interruptions experienced customers, took place between 4 pm and 6 pm. Only the Internet and telephony provider was interrupted by the disturbances. The television audience remained unaffected.
The first failure was confined to its own network of Tweak, which include the cities of Almere, Enschede and Leeuwarden provide gigabit fiber. The following two failures occurred in all about 10,000 Tweak customers through the country. Meanwhile, the interference is gone and Tweak expects no further interruption of services.Viewing:-191
