Its parent company Dixons, iCentre and Mycom is in financial trouble

The BAS Group has indicated that it can pay its bills anymore and postponement of payments. It is checked whether a restart is possible. BAS Group is the parent company of electronics stores such as Dixons, iCentre and Mycom.

The company made the financial problems public Saturday and said in a statement that the shops where the owner is still remain open. Because of the financial problems were a number of companies where BAS Group is the owner of, among other Dixons, iCentre and Mycom, no longer pay the bills.

What eventually about the jobs of the 1,200 employees who work at BAS Group is not yet clear; are working on a restart, but the argument still lack the details. It is therefore possible that in time people are being laid off.

For daughter shop iCentre is not the first time that the threat of a possible bankruptcy. Apple reseller went bankrupt because already then a lot of the stores was taken over by BAS Group.
