Japanese electronics firm Fujitsu makes splitting known
The Japanese electronics giant Fujitsu Limited today announced that it splits into two companies as of 1 February 2016. The company will split into a branch for laptops and desktops and a branch directed to include mobile telephony.
Fujitsu Fujitsu’s computer discipline of Client Computing Limited name and the mobile phone company will continue under the name Fujitsu Connected Technologies Limited. With the step, the rumors of early December fed about a possible merger of the PC sectors from Toshiba, Vaio and Fujitsu.
Fujitsu announces itself that the division needed to become more competitive and faster to respond to the increasing number of market players to participate in. With two smaller companies may be faster decisions made by management, according to a notice on the site of Fujitsu.
