Kaby Lake Intel desktop processors in December, ready for delivery




The first Kaby Lake processors are in December, ready to be supplied, according to a roadmap of Intel. In October the quality -samples the successor Skylake ready. These are quad cores for the desktop.

Intel desktop roadmap Bench Life publishes put the RTS, or the ship ready to start the Kaby Lake S processors December. These are the 4 + 2-chips such as Intel calls its quad cores, which probably actually be available in January. The 2 + 2 processors, or dual cores will be available in the first quarter of 2017. The RTS start date, according to the roadmap in early February.

The roadmap confirms the rumor that Intel Kaby Lake for the desktop at CES 2017 will announce early January. The mobile chips for the next generation processor will probably be sooner. The first laptops and tablets with the U and Y series of Kaby Lake processors are likely to be announced in early September at the IFA 2017.
