Kaspersky: security concerns, shaking confidence in online financial transactions with consumers in the UAE

This makes it more important for banks and retailers is to prove that they are doing everything they can to dispel these fears and put the safety of online transactions and data security on their list of priorities.

Ross said Hogan, head of the fight against global fraud Kaspersky Lab: “With the growing number of consumers who use, and even rely on banking services through mobile channels and online payment to communicate with companies and implementation of the transaction, it is expected that service providers take adequate security measures to protect their customers from fraud and security breach. However, our survey results showed that 46 per cent of consumers in the UAE tend to use payment channels over the Internet more often if they have reliable protection of financial transactions, which makes it clear that service providers need to do more effort to protect the security and integrity of the data used in the transactions in order to achieve long-term profitability and maintain the company’s reputation. ”
