Kerbal Space Program for PlayStation 4 comes out on July 12

Sony has announced that downloadable game Kerbal Space Program from July 12 for its PlayStation 4 console. However, this month should also be the release for the Xbox One, the date is therefor not yet known.

The announcement of the release was a year ago, but now the game is actually for the PlayStation 4. Sony writes that the controls and gameplay ‘has been completely redesigned. However, it is unclear what the company means by that exactly. Sony further states only that can be used, and the triggers sticks of the controller to carry out precise and advanced maneuvers in the space.

The game is provided with three different modes of play. There is a sandbox mode where players are free to build whatever they want. In addition, there is a science mode, which can be used to carry out experiments and new techniques to play freely. Finally, there is also a career mode, where the player is in charge of a space program and using the Kerbals has to reach space and to perform missions.

The game came in the spring of 2015 already for Linux, Windows and OS X.
