Killer Instinct PC version only runs on Windows 10

A Windows version of Killer Instinct is in the works there, was already known. That this version only runs on Windows 10 yet. Adam Isgreen, creative director of the game, making the reduction announced in an interview via Twitch. The Windows version will appear in March.

Isgreen tells the Twitch interview that he is not very technical and can not answer at all to technical questions. He makes it clear that the Windows version only runs on Windows 10. The game is based on the same code as the existing version for Xbox One and therefore does not run on older versions of Windows. Isgreen further confirms that the Windows version in March, comes on the market, together with Season Three of the online fighting game.

Although the game has the same code base as the version for Xbox One, the PC version has some additional options. Mainly to graphics, there is more configurable. The game runs at 60 frames per second, but despite that the resolution can be cranked. Details about the maximum achievable resolution Isgreen does not. He stressed that the multiplayer of the game is playable cross platform. So players on xbox one can compete against players from the Windows version.

Killer Instinct is a reboot of the same game from 1994. The new version appeared in 2013 as a free playable game with the Xbox One. All game modes of the game is playable for free, but players only have access to one of the playable characters. For other characters must be paid. When in March Season Three begins, there also appear additional characters.
