Kingston HyperX SSD Savage-tested – especially good on paper

The Savage HyperX is Kingstons newest solid state drive and is available in capacities of 120, 240, 480 and 980GB. It is one of the first drives with Phison S10 controller onboard and he combines that with A19nm flash from Toshiba. The drive is made for the middle, with a price of just over 45 cents per gigabyte. However, performance is only good in synthetic benchmarks; In our practice tests scores drive less than a cheaper budget drive.
