Kingston Technology HyperX SSD Fury




Kingston has a new SSD series released under its HyperX brand and then praises the Fury series also as a product for gamers. The SSDs are based on an old and familiar design, and must be budget friendly.

The Company did not have any known prices of 120GB and 240GB HyperX SSD’s Fury, but given the underlying hardware should not be excessive. The Fury is based on a SandForce SF2281 controller, which is 20nm MLC NAND manner that IMFT of origin. The performance for the smaller 120GB variant as usual less writing; then 130MB / s was obtained, while the 240GB variant 250MB / s picks.

Reading the drives faster, but with 330MB / s and 390MB / s, respectively, no speed monsters. Kingston also sees the drives as loafers for gamers. Those gamers also get access to new Impact memory, which is also sold as HyperX ram. The memory is 4GB and 8GB of strips per piece or set for sale. The speed must be between 1600MHz and 2400MHz with latencies of 9 to 12.
