Qualys , a provider of cloud security services and security policy controls, today announced a free 30-day service to companies worldwide that enables it to identify, track and repair assets at risk of the WannaCry virus , Thousands of computers around the world.

The virus exploits the Windows vulnerability known as Eternal Blue and the penetration point MS17-010, to encrypt files and then prompt for a ransom for decryption.

Companies are now faced with the daunting task of locating this vulnerability in their global IT environments, and implementing corporate security solutions is a slow process that takes a lot of time.

In response to this attack, Qualis provides customers worldwide with unlimited capabilities to conduct a comprehensive cloud scan that can be used and applied immediately.

The service helps companies detect, track and treat the Wana Krai virus in all its forms through global IT assets.
