Kodi comes with case for Raspberry Pi 3

Kodi media player software comes with a case for the Raspberry Pi 3. A portion of the proceeds from the case goes to a foundation that does research on cancer. The creator of the case is the American company Flirc.

The LEDs of the Pi + 2 and B are visible through the case, with the 3 that is not the case. The housing is made of aluminum. Kodi says the undisclosed percentage of the proceeds shall transfer to the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

It is the first time that Kodi hardware releases. The US Flirc designed the case. Until now, the company released a media center dongle, but recently hinted the company if it was going in a different direction.

The case has four USB ports and ports for HDMI, Ethernet and a 3.5 mm jack. The case takes sixteen pounds, converted currently about around twenty euros. Kodi says it allows a limited edition and will eventually produce more copies of the case at a large question.
