KPN abolish roaming charges within the EU off for prepaid customers
Provider KPN acquired for prepaid customers roaming charges within the EU on 30 April. The mobile operator confirms to Tweakers. For subscribers, the abolition of roaming charges technically not possible, KPN claims.
KPN confirms the step after Tweakers first saw a news bulletin on the company’s intranet. In addition, the provider calls it prepaid customers starting April 30 for both calling and texting and mobile Internet are considered in the Netherlands.
