KPN gives MijnKPN app a comprehensive update

KPN has given the app and site of its MijnKPN service a substantial metamorphosis. The update included a two-month test period with Gathering or Tweakers forum members.

According to KPN, the app has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, making maintenance and further development easier. According to the company, the new interface should provide customers with better insight into the products they purchase and the consumption of various services.

At the bottom of the display there is a choice of Overview, Products, Service and Profile. At Products, customers can choose whether they want to see details of the Television, Internet and Fixed Calling components. In addition, they can change or add additional options and view invoices.

KPN started an alpha test of the iOS and Android app with a limited group of users and a beta with two hundred customers. In May, the open beta test started , which every customer could sign up for. In the summer a comprehensive test followed with twenty tweakers, which lasted two months. According to KPN, testers rate the app with an average of 4 on a scale of 1 to 5.

The company continues to develop MijnKPN . The company proposes, among other things, a chat function and a function to follow orders in the prospect.
