A source from Tweakers confirms that the box directly supports vplus connections. KPN is offering vplus via its network. This expansion of vdsl2 vectoring provides higher frequencies, with which the download speed can be 200Mbit / s, with an upload speed of 60Mbit / s. In combination with pair bonding, the speeds can theoretically reach 400Mbit / s.

The Experiabox V10 from ZTE can support vplus and bonded vplus after an update. The other specifications of the Arcadyan Experiabox V10 are almost identical to those of the ZTE variant. For example, support for 802.11ac WiFi is also available as standard. KPN would shortly supply the V10a version of the Experiabox to customers. Tweakers has questions from the provider to confirm this.

Update, 14.00 : KPN has responded: “We are indeed testing a new type of Experiabox, and once these tests have been completed, they will gradually become available alongside the existing Experiaboxes.”
