KPN will start a test with watching TV on 4g. Consumption of watching TV is not the data collection in the pilot off. Presumably it is a test of the technology LTE broadcast, which allows providers to broadcast over 4G. Television signal
It is a pilot with ten stations, so twitters RTL reporter Merijn Danes on the basis of a webcast of KPN’s Capital Market Day where consumer director Jaap Postma talked about the pilot. The presentation Postma speaks explicitly about the ability to look outside, without getting rid of the data bundle TV. Presumably it will be a pay service. Further details have not yet published the provider and the provider did not respond to requests for an explanation.
KPN is not the first who wants to offer without the data of the beam goes off TV services in the Netherlands: Vodafone does that all by Sizz, offering programs from RTL, while traffic through streams Spotify with KPN’s own Hi not the beam go off .

LTE is a broadcast protocol that runs on current 4G networks and makes it possible to send to all recipients a signal.
The provider has for several years been the service MobielTV that on some phones from Nokia and Samsung was supported, but after no new models with the required DVB-H came out, the number of users dropped from 40,000 to 20,000. MobielTV went live in 2008 , but stopped again in 2011 .
