KPN tries to resell mobile operator Base




KPN has again engaged in the sale of its Belgian subsidiary Base, writes Bloomberg based on anonymous sources. The Dutch telecom provider would ask 1 billion for the sale of Base.

According to Bloomberg, we are collaborating with the US investment bank JPMorgan Chase in an attempt to sell the Belgian provider. Though not KPN announced acquisition desired amount, financial analysts think that will be the price for Base around 1 billion euros.

It is not the first time that KPN puts his Belgian telecom daughter in the window; In 2012, KPN also tried to sell Base, but eventually saw the Dutch telecom provider of sales off because there would be presented insufficient. KPN charged at the time in an amount of approximately 1.8 billion euros.

KPN succeeded last year or in the sale of its German subsidiary E-Plus by sale to Spain’s Telefonica. For the acquisition of E-plus euro 8.1 billion was paid .
