Lego Robotics Introduces learning system for primary schools

Lego WeDo 2.0 announced a leather pack comprising among others Lego bricks, a SmartHub, a motor and sensors that School Students must bring into contact with robotics. The package also contains Lego’s core software.

Lego provides WeDo 2.0 with SmartHub element which supports bluetooth le and is part of Lego Power Functions for driving and managing Lego creations. In the packet further down a motor and a tilt and motion sensor, in addition to the core software, Lego-sets and documentation.

The WeDo 2.0 Core software can program students according Lego robots easily via a simple graphical drag and drop interface. Lego also offers a curriculum with educational material along like the “drop & rescue ‘project. These children need to develop prototypes that can be used after a natural disaster and which has minimal impact on humans, animals and environment.

The software components and documentation for Lego Education WeDo 2.0 is available for iPad, Android, PC and Mac. In the second half of 2016 the package is also available for ChromeOS.
