Lenovo provides E-Ink-screen Yoga laptop and comes with Snapdragon 850 model




Lenovo has announced several new 2-in-1 devices in the Yoga series, including the Yoga Book C930. This is a convertible PC with an additional E-Ink screen. There will also be a model with Snapdragon 850-soc and a Chromebook in the Yoga series.

The top model in the renewed Yoga series is the C930 . This 2-in-1 must distinguish itself with his sound reproduction. This is because a Lenovo named Rotating Sound Bar, with support for Dolby Atmos. The C930 also supports the hdr standard Dolby Vision. Lenovo delivers the 2-in-1 with a stylus that is charged when it is integrated.

The Yoga Book C930 is a variant of the C930 with a second screen based on electronic ink. Users can take notes on this and make the device suitable as an e-reader. In addition, the E-Ink screen can be used as a keyboard with different configurations and skins. The Book C930 also has a stylus and this Precision Pen is a Wacom model with 4096 pressure points and bluetooth.

The C930 models receive Intel processors, but there is also a 2-in-1 based on Qualcomm’s Mobile Compute Platform. This Yoga C630 WOS is the first with the Snapdragon 850-soc, which makes Qualcomm especially for laptops. The Yoga C930 and Book C930 appear at the end of September for respectively starting prices 1499 euros and 999 euros. The Yoga C630 WOS follows in November for 999 euros.

Lenovo also announces the Yoga S730. This is a laptop with the latest generation of Core i7 processors and a claimed battery life of up to 10 hours. This laptop also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The model appears in October for a starting price of 999 euros.

Furthermore, the Yoga Chromebook appears. This is a Chrome-end concept high-end model, with touch-sensitive 4k screen, thin screen edges and SSD storage. The starting price is 799 euros and Lenovo starts the sale at the end of October. The manufacturer will release a cheaper Chromebook a month later, the C330, with an ips-touch screen but emmc storage instead of an SSD. The starting price will be 349 euros.
