Less than one percent of mobile gamers creates half in-app purchases’




According to e-commerce Swrve a very small percentage of mobile gamers creates revenue from in-app purchases. Half of the money spent is from 0.15 per cent of the players. Total does 1.5 percent of mobile gamers sometimes an in-app purchase.

That says Swrve in a research report that the company has online put . The market researcher took a sample of 10 million players of mobile games in January of this year and looked at what they are spending on in-app purchases. This showed that the revenues of developers from in-app purchases could come from a very small number of players. According Swrve is namely 0.15 percent of the total number of mobile gamers surveyed responsible for half of the income.

In January, 1.5 percent of the players bought something within an app. Most of these players bought something once. Approximately 13.2 percent of the players who did an in-app purchase, bought five or more times just in the month of January. Players who are in-app purchases did, gave an average of $ 15.27, converted about 11.15 euros. On average, these players do their first purchase within the first 24 hours after they play the game for the first time conscious.
