LG Announces The Launch Of Its LGQ6 Smartphone In The UAE




LG announced on Monday its new LG Q6 smartphone in the UAE market, about two months after its announcement.

The South Korean company announced LGQ6 on July 11 as a mini-version of its flagship smartphone LG LG6 launched in July.

“The LG Q6 is part of the new Q series, the first smartphone to offer the FullVision screen after the LG G6,” LG said when it announced the phone.

LG is the latest in a series of powerful, mid-sized smartphones. The new series includes three phones: Q6, Q6 + and Q6α, which differ from each other in terms of RAM and internal storage space.

The Q6 + offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage space. The Q6 offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of memory. Q6α offers 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

The new Q-series is the first after the LG G6 in the introduction of a thin-edged screen with a ratio of 18: 9, which comes in measuring 5.5 inches and 2160 × 1080 pixels.

For the rest of the specifications, the new Q6, which comes in 8.1 mm thick and weighs 149 grams, is equipped with a Qualcomm Snappadragon 435, plus a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery.

The phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-end camera. The device supports 4G networks and NFC technology.

In terms of software, Q6 runs version 7.1.1 “Noga” from the Android operating system of Google, it supports face recognition feature, comes with Google AdSense Assistant.

Both the LGQ6 and LGQ6+ smartphones are available in all the leading electronics stores in the UAE in Platinum, Snow, Black and Gold, priced at AED 849 and AED 1,049, respectively.
