LG: Apple announced later this year iMac with 8k-screen




LG has claimed in an article on his website that Apple later this year with an iMac comes who has an 8k screen. The page is now offline. Apple iMac with 8k screen still not been announced.

Apple does have since last year a 5k iMac screen , but LG calls the “8k iMac ‘in a post dedicated to applications of 8k. The post, which LG high resolution explains, is taken offline, but is to be found on the Web Archive. It was 9to5 Mac that the message noted . The post mentions that the iMac to be released later this year.

The manufacturer has not said anything from Cupertino about a possible iMac display with 8k resolution. There were before post online also appeared no rumors surfaced. It is unknown whether the message LG has taken offline because it just announced what still could not come out or because it was incorrect. Since the manufacturer has not mentioned.

LG has long been one of the suppliers of screens for Apple products. Among other iMacs, MacBooks, iPads and iPhones are panels of the South Korean manufacturer. LG said the would 8k resolution of 7680×4320 pixels on a 27 “screen lead to 326 pixels per inch, a pixel density that Apple used previously from his iPhone 4 series in 2010.
