LG has announced the G Pad II 10.1 a large tablet in his G-Pad series. The manufacturer shall demonstrate the tablet for the first time at IFA electronics fair, held in Berlin in ten days. The tablet runs on a two year old Snapdragon 800-soc Qualcomm.

The Snapdragon 800 is a soc that LG itself since the autumn of 2013 applied in eg the G2 and Nexus 5 smartphone. Since then, LG used the Snapdragon 801.805. 808 and 810 in a variety of devices, but nevertheless LG engages for this tablet back on this soc. The manufacturer combines the soc a memory the size of 2GB.

The screen is an LCD with a diagonal of 10.1 “and a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, while the housing around 25,4×16,1cm is great. The tablet has a thickness of 7.8 mm and a weight of 589 grams, while the battery has a size of 7400mAh.

The G Pad II 10.1 is a larger version of the previously released 8 “tablet. If he just comes out in the UK and what it will cost, is still unknown.
