LG creates after years Windows Phone device
LG has for the first time in years even created a Windows Phone device. This is a model that only opens out in the United States. The latest Windows Phone device from LG for the Dutch market dates back to 2010.
The LG Lancet comes only from the US carrier Verizon Wireless. The device itself costs $ 120, converted and currently around 128 euros including VAT. The phone has a design somewhat reminiscent of a smaller Nexus 5.
The phone runs Windows Phone 8.1 and has a 4.5 “screen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410-soc and supports 4G. However, that does probably not used in the Netherlands. Verizon for 2G and 3G technologies that are not in use in the Netherlands, while the 4G applied to frequencies other than the Netherlands.
The Lancet is LG’s first Windows Phone in years. The Optimus 7 came out with the release of Windows Phone 7 in 2010. After that there was in any case not have a Windows Phone device from LG lake in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The Lancet includes several features that LG has not previously appeared on devices such as LG own camera and Quick Memo for Windows Phone. It seems unlikely that the manufacturer which features just made for a low-end device which comes with a provider, making it appear that more Windows Phones from LG in development.
Manufacturers voices high-end models probably off on the release of Windows 10 Mobile later this year. Since the Lumia 930 and HTC One M8 for Windows last summer, there are no expensive models with Windows Phone more appeared.Viewing:-521
