LG goes into future modules for smartphones
LG will continue in the future by making smart phones, where users can add modules. The South Korean manufacturer brings this week with the G5, its first smartphone on the market with support for modules.

The South Korean manufacturer is the first major smartphone maker experimenting with these extensions. It is still unknown whether there will be more modules and if so, what it will be. Although LG G5 refers to as “modular” smart phone, which is not quite the case. Users can just click modules on the bottom, but other components of the device are not exchanging via modules, as with Project Ara it can Google.
