LG, Huawei and Motorola will not this year with new Android Wear watches

LG, Huawei and Motorola come this year not with new smart watches based on Android Wear. That said, the three manufacturers at tech site Cnet. Last year they were all three have new models. Only Asus has so far announced a new model.

The LG Watch Urbane, Moto 360 and Huawei Watch get to attend any successors, even as Android Wear 2 will be released soon, confirm manufacturers. The reasons therefor differ. Parent company Lenovo has announced that Motorola believes in most watches that can connect to a mobile network. “And although it is technically possible, is evident from the trade-offs on the product that we are not quite ready for it.” Some manufacturers have watches that can connect to 4G, such as LG Watch Urbane LTE series and the Frontier version of the Samsung Gear S3.

LG awaits what will catch on before new models arrive. Samsung and Apple in particular seem to throw on fitness features. Samsung has been Gear S3 features include GPS, so he can track the location with no phone nearby. Apple did the same for the Watch Series 2 and also has the housing made watertight.

However, the Asus ZenWatch 3 still with Android Wear, though it is unclear when. In addition, Google itself would work on watches. This would go out in two variants, but when that will be is unknown. Who makes the watches, is unknown. Android Wear two to come out this fall, at least as an update on some of the existing models with Android Wear.
