LG Introduces 27 “-gamemonitor with associate professors and Free Sync support – Update

LG has announced a gaming monitor with a diagonal of 27 inches and a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The display supports Free Sync and would have a inputlag of only 9.7 milliseconds, thanks to a special “DAS’ mode.

The 27MU67 features an IPS panel with an aspect ratio of 16: 9. The Free Sync support works with a minimum refresh rate of 40Hz. Meanwhile, there is also a single monitor with 30Hz as a minimum on the market, with the advantages of that at low frame rates, but with the bulk of the Free-Sync screens the case of 40Hz.

LG mentions the presence of a Dynamic Action Sync mode, which reduces the inputlag to 9.7 milliseconds at activation. The screen brightness is 300cd / m² and the gray-to-gray response time is 5ms.

The screen provides LG as a color depth of 10bit, but this relates to 8bit support in conjunction with AFRC, where colors are rapidly alternated to simulate a third color to increase color depth virtual. The 27MU67 is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports and DisplayPort 1.2.

The US suggested retail price is $ 600, converted 532 euros, but the actual prices and the euro introduction date in the UK are not yet known.

Update, 17:30: LG Netherlands reports that the monitor from the end of August will be available for a suggested retail price of 599 euros.
