LG makes webOS 3.0 is available for webOS 2.0 TVs




LG TVs that shipped last year with webOS 2.0 later this year get an upgrade to webOS 3.0, which lets you know the manufacturer at CES to Tweakers. Older TVs with webOS 1.0, which were last updated to the 2.0 version, the upgrade did not get.

LG announced webOS 3.0 in late December and then let know that the software is put standard on the 2016 line of TVs. Or even older TVs can expect the operating system, LG said then. At CES explains a spokesman that the upgrade this year it comes, but the exact date is still unknown.

Moreover, only TVs shipped in 2015 look forward with webOS 2.0 upgrade. TVs from 2014 to 2015 that could be upgraded to webOS 2.0, falling in the next software update by the wayside.

WebOS 3.0 will include a zoom capability for text to the software while it is possible through the Magic Mobile Connection to connect smartphones to TVs, to give example apps on screen via LG’s TV Plus app. The Magic Remote Remote, the forthcoming generation of smart TVs with simple set-top boxes must be able to handle.
