LG presents smaller variant G2




LG has presented a smaller version of its smartphone G2. The G2 Mini is much smaller and has a 4.7 “display with qHD resolution. Processor is a quad-core Snapdragon from the 400 series from Qualcomm.

The G2 Mini, like the larger LG G2 , which came almost half a year ago, the buttons are on the back. Under the camera lens down the volume buttons and the off button. The screen can also be activated by tapping. Twice on the screen

The processor is the same as the G Moto Motorola: a Snapdragon 400 with four Cortex A7 processor cores at 1.2 GHz and an Adreno 305 GPU, assisted by a memory the size of 1GB. The storage memory is 8GB and the user can expand through a micro SD slot. The battery is removable and has a capacity of 2440mAh. The phone supports HSPA + and 4G.

The phone has a 4.7 “screen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. The screen has 234 pixels per inch, therefore, much less than the more than 400 pixels per inch of the larger G2. The phone measures 130x66x9, 8mm, which 71 percent of the surface is covered with screen. the bezels are thereby slightly larger than that of the G2, but smaller than that of many telephones in its class.

The G2 Mini runs on Android 4.4 with LG’s own skin over Android. Many of the features of the larger G2 will also be found on the smaller one, as the Guest Mode, which allows users to lend without having gone through the handset. Others in privacy sensitive data their phone

LG shows the G2 mini next week at Mobile World Congress exhibition telecom and brings him in April in the Netherlands for an undisclosed price.
