LG presents two K-phones for budget market

LG has released two new models in its K-series of smartphones. The K8 and K5 join the K10, K7 and K4 which the South Korean manufacturer unveiled earlier. The phones will likely cost between 100 and 200 euros.

The K8 is the most expensive of the two and has a 5 “screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, over which curved glass. The device runs on Android Marshmallow and an unnamed quad-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.3GHz . Presumably, it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 with Adreno 304 gPU and 4G support in the modem.

The K5 with Android Lollipop also has a 5 “screen, but with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The SOC also has four processor cores at up to 1.3GHz, but because the K5 does not support 4G, the probability that it exists for another soc is eg MediaTek.

LG mentions only the K5 he comes to Europe, although it is obvious that too will come to the K8. Given the prices of the K10 and K4 is obvious that both devices have prices between 100 and 200 euros, although LG is saying nothing about.
